There has been much research carried out in the way of chronic fatigue syndrome treatment. Earlier, it was firmly believed that chronic fatigue syndrome was a psychologically based illness but experts today believe that it is a physical illness. As there is no concrete evidence as to what causes chronic fatigue syndrome, the treatment for it is varied and depends on the symptoms that are present.The most frequent {methods used are to treat patients with trycilic antidepressants or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors.



Exercise is also one of the methods that are used today as treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome treatment It is believed that when a person is physically not active for a long period of time, it can lead to chronic fatigue syndrome becoming worse as it weakens the immune system, had a negative impact on a personís mood and also strength. Despite not producing any conclusive results doctors sill recommend exercise as a treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome.

The type of treatment used for patients with chronic fatigue syndrome differs from case to case, depending on the patientís symptoms as well as their genetic disposition. Individual treatment of the patients symptoms can improve his/her quality of life and make it possible for the person to cope with the chronic fatigue syndrome and live a relatively normal life.
